Fresh outta Chapter 9, American needed a facelift. We started with safety—then plastered the country with lines and livery.

Who knows safety better than Jeff Tremaine, creator/director of the biggest stunt show in history? “Us,” if you ask the FAA. But Jeff, and the good hands at HELO, still took the whole shoot to newer—safer—heights.

International and domestic recognition.

American debuted its safety video on the international stage at TIFF, before netting a few awards at the ADDYs.

No planes, no problem.

American’s new fleet wasn’t ready yet, so, to capture their energy and chicness, we concepted nine custom, kaleidoscopic sets alongside Ethan Tobman, best known for Beyoncé’s “Formation” and the film, ‘Moon.’

Safe, in sounds.

For our score, we composed a custom track using all the beeps, boops, buckled belts and baggage claims that go into making every flight with American a safe one.
